13 DEC PL-Workshop to Workshop

We would like to inform you about an important change in our platform activities. The current PL-Workshop will be replaced by the standard Workshop activity. This change is necessary because the support for PL-Workshop does not meet ULearning requirements.

What are the differences between PL-Workshop and Workshop?

In broad terms, they are similar, but the main difference lies in the requirement to manually complete the “assesgrade” phase, which is not present in PL-Workshop. Since this phase is mandatory, instructors must always review the grades given.

Automatic progression of the phase

The phases in PL-Workshop are set to automatically progress by default. This is a setting in the Workshop activity and automatically progresses from the setup phase to the grade review phase. You can enable this by turning on the deadline for submissions during creation, and then activating “Switch to the next phase after the submission deadline” option.
